Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you run up to 3 active students with scheduling, basic check-ins and email support — no credit card, no time limit. Upgrade to Pro only when you outgrow it.
Do my students need an account?
Students get a simple portal where they confirm lessons, complete assignments and review materials. Setup takes seconds — you invite them, and they're in. They never see your admin, billing or other students.
Can I take payments through TutorAge?
On Pro and Max, invoices are generated from the lessons you teach, with payment links sent straight to students. You choose when to charge — prepay, after the lesson, or on the lesson day — and track every payout in one ledger.
What subjects does it work for?
Any of them. TutorAge is built around tutoring workflows, not a single curriculum — tutors use it for test prep (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE), languages, maths, music and more. The assignment and vocabulary tools adapt to whatever you teach.
Can I cancel anytime?
Anytime, with no penalty. Paid plans are month-to-month (or annual if you want the 20% discount), and you can downgrade back to Free whenever you like — your data stays with you.
